Idea 2

my second idea comes about the good and bad side of people or the reflected side in people. my idea for this was too have two or three people virtually split into two showing different emotions. Here is an example of the idea i wish to create.

 facial emotion says a lot about what a person's feeling so i
wish to who people what others go through in their lives.


Shoot 1
i have used the same model zac as a test for my two faced picture. as this was an experiment i decided to see what it would look like without any other emotion on their face. you can obviously see the one where the picture split but here are the other two pictures that i had used to make this picture

Idea 3

in this idea i wanted to show different idea of studio photography in a compilation of ideas. there are various things you can do in a studio like projections, still life and portrait.

Shoot 1

i decided to do some projection photography and use some really colorful projections. first i used my model Sophie to stand in front of her chosen projection and you can obviously see that she is there and outlined in the image. i have used some other projections and other models in the projections

Shoot 2

Still life is an interesting subject to do so i decided why not. still life photography is easy because you can shape it to how you like it to be. i decided to use this mannequin with this outfit on and positioned it to my liking. 

Shoot 3

the best thing to do in a studio is portrait photography simply because of the blank background you can use. i decided to use my classic model zac for my portrait side of this compilation because this photo is perfectly balanced on his face and there is no colour in the back ground

Idea 1

My first idea of my first shoot will be based around the genre of fashion and portrait photography. Portrait  photography is where you take a picture of a person (preferably a person not an animal) of the persons head and shoulders. For example this is my model (left) in a low key lighting portrait picture. This is an example of portrait photography but then there are the professional photographers who base their work around portrait photography like Angus Thomas (right)

Ray lowe
Ray lowe is a professional portrait photographer who's work is recognized as unique. Ray uses the urban environment to specify the image and its unique look. using this kind of photography for fashion could work if used as props in the studio. here are a few examples of one urban photo and two studio photos

Shoot 1

 in this shoot my model Zac had posed for my fashion shoot cover. we had used the black backdrop and a tripod. the first couple of photos we had a few muck ups and then towards the end we got it perfect. Using this backdrop for this kind of photography is one of the two better ones to use (the other one being white)







Shoot 2

In this shoot I decided to add a little bit of colour to the image and I know that fire extinguishers aren't fashionable but it makes the eyes focus on the top half of the image.




Shoot 3
By the end of shoot 3 I had the image that i wanted to use for my fashion cover. Obviously I will crop it down and add the text onto the image but this is the image I will use

Reflections

Reflection can come in all shapes and sizes especially in photography there are all kinds of reflections like reflections in water, windows and even people. Getting a perfect reflection in a moving object is hard to do especially with water. Reflections have a particular effect on an image which makes the image much better. Reflections in people are difficult to capture but you have to be creative for example you can have people wearing the same clothes same height and basically a perfect reflection or you can make the opposite reflection like one wears a black shirt and one wears a white shirt one person could be black one person could be white it all depends on your imagination and how creative you can be with it.

  

this is just just a few examples of reflections and because they have been creative it looks that much better.

Magazine covers

magazine covers usually rotate around fashion because fashion is mainly published in magazines. fashion mainly comes under clothing, make-up and attractive men/women Clothing mainly to set trends or to show the latest expensive clothing. Some magazines advertise the media others do celebrities and their lives and others do the gaming industry.
